SESSIONS SPA - design and re-fit of beauty spa and salon
Designing and building the interior of the Sessions Health and Beauty Day Spa presented an exciting challenge for Commercial Fitting Services and a chance for the team to spread its creative wings.
At the time, it was completely different from CFS’ usual projects (trade outlets and office complexes) but we embraced it as an opportunity to create an environment that is really extraordinary and exciting.
Working closely with the client, visuals were produced of how the interior spaces would look, these were then developed into the architectural designs. The same process was applied to the interior fittings, and these drawings were then adapted to allow for the manufacturing process. One of CFS' biggest strengths is having the in-house knowledge and expertise to develop a client’s vision into something that is feasible to manufacture - the result being beautiful and practical interiors that fit the brief…and the budget!
The project images show the lifecycle of the fit-out; from the building's former state as a court house through to the finished salon and spa - complete with new gallery mazzanine floor and 'recycled' paneling rescued from the original court house.
