Bench Joiner / Cabinet Maker

We require a time served, qualified Bench Joiner / Cabinet Maker to work in our workshop in Hull.

Essential skills / experience:

• NVQ / City and Guilds
• Experience in a workshop environment
• Experience manufacturing doors, office and shop furniture, and bespoke items ready for installation
• Able to work to technical drawings / plans
• Flexible and motivated – willing to help on clients sites during the installation process
• Experience working to tight deadlines
• Reliable
• Able to work independently and as part of a team using initiative
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent)

Desirable:

• Experience working with machinery, including: beam saw, spindle moulder, planer and sizer
• Experience creating bespoke pieces
• Excellent knowledge of materials
